Paper Roll Upender - Rhode Island Project

This unit was design to be installed in the customers existing product line. Unit automatically indexes a roll of paper into the fixed guide and upends roll onto pallet. The roll transitions from side to end position and then by way of a powered roller conveyor system is driven out at a 90 degree angle from the unit and sent for packaging.

This maintenance unit was built as part of a package that was assembled in Washington and then sent to the customer in the Arabian Desert. Tandem scissor design was used for the extra length unit. Custom paint, bellows and sealed pins and bushings were part of the package used to protect the unit against the harsh desert environment.
